Blue Crab - Jacksonville

Have not been in many years so I wanted some snow crabs so we went . Got a dozen oysters with bread crumbs absolutely no taste the oysters were amazing clean like they had been washed and used many times and the oysters were not the least bit attached to the shell seemed like they were those pre shucked oysters maybe I’m wrong! The red beans and rice had absolutely no seasoning just plain white rice and plain red beans my girlfriend Daughter and I took one taste and passed on the rest my snow crab was very soft so you could not break them apart like I usually do but we’re tasty My girlfriends crab cakes were outstanding! but overall was disappointing for $100

We hadn't been in years finally went for Father's day. Being we're originally from MD, were excited to go. We had an awesome time. The food was VERY good (of course got crabs, blue snow). Also tho the service was awesome! Will definitely go back

Our family of four had a fantastic first visit to The Blue Crab today, and we will certainly be back! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth, and our server, Mike, truly stood out—he was attentive, professional, and friendly. We savored steamed crabs, fries, and the most delectable Key Lime Pie (probably the best I've ever tasted) along with rich chocolate cake for dessert. Our warm butter was replenished during the meal, and our drinks were promptly refilled. Mike was on top of everything! My husband, our teenage sons, and I all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I'd also like to commend the overall cleanliness of the restaurant and restroom facilities. Great food, wonderful service, and a clean, inviting atmosphere for dining! Well done!

The crabs in Baltimore are definitely fantastic. My first visit was outstanding— the crabs were full and perfectly cooked. On my second visit, however, the crabs were light, and unfortunately, they ended up being overcooked as a result. It happens sometimes. I’m willing to give it another try and hope that it was just an off batch.

This place has a hometown bar vibe we were sat quickly and the service was very polite, very friendly. The menu has a large selection to choose from: crab shrimp and fish pasta. a little something for everybody. It wasn't very busy when we were in, and it did take a little bit of time to get our food. We didn't mind because we weren't in a rush, but it might be something someone else might want to keep in mind if they're trying to grab a quick bite. We loved everything that we tried there. The only issue is that we felt the portion sizes were a little small. Overall and stuff when worth stopping in and giving it a try.
