Bella Union Restaurant and Saloon

Very nice ambiance in a historic setting. You will pay a little more, but the atmosphere and location makes it worth it. I tried the smoked salmon Caesar salad and was very pleased. We will be back!

I was very satisfied with my visit to Bella Union. It was a very classy establishment. The food was delicious. The service was great! I would definitely recommend this restaurant I plan to go again!

Expensive but great food. The patio is very nice during the summer time.

Have eaten at the Bella several times and the servers don't seem to be able to keep up, especially outside. Very slow service almost every time.

As one of the original 7 Jacksonville saloons back in the gold rush days of the 1860's, Bella Union is still serving up golden experiences and fare. The residents of Jacksonville were careful not to change the sleepy town's ambiance in over a century and a half. Just 7 miles west of Medford it is a pleasant drive through old orchards and new vineyards. Bella Union is right on Main street. On a hot Southern Oregon afternoon, there's nothing like sitting under the 100 year old Wisteria vine in the back sipping on a quenching drink from their long list of libations. The owner has a huge cellar of local, now famous, Rogue Valley wines. He also keeps a wide variety of cold micro brews from the state on tap. They offer a wide variety of food from steak and seafood to sandwiches and the best pizza in the Valley. The service is outstanding. The waiters are taking care of the customers whether it's their table or not. I had new drinks immediately even when our waiter was busy on the other side of the room. We've eaten there many times and have had a wide variety of food. All of it was fresh and the seasonings well balanced. It is a good value and a great experience.
