Bidrage med feedbackWe came all the way from Virginia to try Papa's kitchen. I couldn't find the restaurant wasn't here, so I called for instructions. The lady on the phone came down the street to help me find the restaurant (like sweet!) The menu had many delicious options and they helped us kindly decide what to order. The food was worth AMAZING and the journey from Virginia! I could not have asked for a better experience because their service is Top Notch. I recommend Papas! We're coming back!
This place deserves great recognition for its participation in Filipino Food. You have your crispy pata, Lechon kawali, kare-kare, sinigang, desserts and much more. Although the menu appears limited, this is your gateway to Filipino Food. The aromas are also amazing. This night I tried the sine vein na ulo ng salmon (salmon head in an acid soup broth), crispy pata, beef pares and fried chicken. Everything was just. The flavors, the textures the presentation. It was all. I also loved her rice, not as sticky as your typical Filipino restaurant. You know they're using the electoral system. Overall, this place is a hidden gem. Literally hidden. We almost lost looking for the place. It is a pleasant place next to a Thai restaurant. Don't lose yourself like me.
We're from Texas so glad we found this place last year. Food was really delicious at a good price. So happy that our New York Fam really enjoyed the food. Great customer service, can not forget that Maria sings Spanish song while we eat dedicated to my Tio, tia and mi Amor. Very recommended. We'll be back soon.
Awesome Filipino Restaurant with karaoke, everyone can sing. Enjoy belly sisig and dynamite Shanghai. Bilao can be ordered for parties before time
What a hidden gem! I've been a fan of Filipino cuisine for years, but this was my first visit to Papa's Kitchen. Beth, literally, was one of the friendliest people that I have ever met. She treated my husband and I as if we were longtime friends. She helped us feel as comfortable as she could given that we had to dine outdoors in very cold weather. We went for a quick lunch and ended up staying and chatting with her for 2 hours. Oh, and the food is divine! The crispy pata was a revelation.
