Los Tres Potrillos - Jackson Heights

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but the service was terrible, and the dish I ordered was disappointing. I got a burrito, expecting it to be similar in size to those from Chipotle, but it was quite small and came with a strange salad that included fruit. It felt like they had rushed to prepare the dish using leftover rice from the previous night and there was hardly any meat in it. I left the restaurant feeling frustrated, especially when they tried to charge me a different price than what was listed on the menu. This place is a rip-off and seems more suited for drunken patrons than for anyone expecting decent food and service. It definitely could use someone like Gordon Ramsay to whip it into shape!

The food was delicious, but I had some issues with the staff. I'm not sure if they were new or just inexperienced. After I finished my meal, I stacked all the plates together, and the waitress walked by, noticed them, but didn’t clear them away. I ended up waiting 30 minutes for the check, and then they charged extra for payments made by card instead of cash.

I found myself in the area and decided to grab lunch since I had never tried food from this neighborhood before. I walked in and ordered steak and fried pork tacos, which were really good. While I was waiting for my food, I thought I’d treat myself to a drink—a vodka and cranberry. To my surprise, it came in a 10 oz glass, though I’m not sure why. The drink was mostly vodka, and after paying $12 for it, I learned my lesson. The food was great, but I definitely wouldn't recommend the drink.

Although it's a decent spot, they should have better sound system. Can't even hear the music you pay to hear. Smh. Oh and they serve with chipped plates. ????

Their food is pretty good when they get it right. I have order many times from this place trying to give them another chance but they always send me the wrong order I usually use uber eats to order fom here so every time I order lamb tacos I end up getting tounge tacos this has happened about 5 times already sometimes they do get it right so is a hit or miss.
