Living in the region we know this restaurant, last meal as of a week we were 9,certes the road of the pitch of roland is picturesque but at the arrival you will not have an extraordinary point of view because the establishment is nestled at the foot of the mountain very close.
Despite some difficulties of orientation to achieve this, the game is worth the candle. A sumptuous setting at the height of the kitchen. We chose the menu, truite meunière and piperade... to fall, axoa of calf and basquaise chicken... very good also even if the chicken would have deserved to be of better quality seen the talents of the cook but we can't have everything... The waitress, very friendly, lacks a little finesse but it's just a detail. The dessert, caramel cream, home!, ends the meal with a touch of softness
If you follow the Nive to Pas de Roland, you will fall on a small paradise, 4 Basque houses with beautiful gardens. In one of it below a river stands a restaurant that offers good local cuisine with very sweet prices. A happy discovery.
A randomly discovered address in 2009 during a stage that had enchanted us, back in 2017 with the family: always as pleasant, very good home Basque cuisine, especially ink chipirons!
