Dolce Delight - Ithaca

What to get the birthday girl who doesn’t like cake: Delicious cinnamon rolls! Friendly staff who know how to take care of their patrons. Quality every time. I messed up the lettering, this wasn’t a fault of theirs. The birthday girl loved them!

This is an adorable little bakery/pastry shop on the outskirts of Ithaca. Everything is made fresh daily and the coffee is wonderful too. There is usually a classic movie playing (Bing Crosby and such) and the staff is very friendly and service is top notch. They can be busy and they are very popular but are well worth the wait. We stop for a treat every time we visit Ithaca.

Possibly the best breakfast sandwiches in Ithaca, I highly recommend The Danby . Every so often I will also treat myself to a fresh muffin and I never regret it. Super friendly staff, even when they have a line out the door. Cute/cozy atmosphere and perfect for my morning commute. This is where the locals go for breakfast/brunch.

The Dolce special was SO good. Large biscuit, nice heat. My wife and I went at 10 and ended up skipping lunch altogether. The service was excellent and nice outdoor seating.

Delicious breakfast, very friendly service. We were staying downtown Ithaca and happened to find this location via the internet, and while it was a little out of the way we took the drive over. So glad we did the breakfast sandwiches and pastries we picked up were delicious. Ordering ahead seemed to be the thing to do if you can just for a little bit faster in/out service but overall we really enjoyed our food.
