The appetizers were good; I ordered the tuna. However, things took a turn with my main course. I ordered the bone-in ribeye steak cooked medium rare (I love steak and eat it weekly), but it came out medium well. Given the price of the steak, I asked the waitress to send it back for the correct cooking temperature. Mistakes happen, so I was understanding. Shortly after sending it back, the manager approached me with the returned steak and asked how I had ordered it. I explained that I wanted it medium rare. He then picked up the steak and insisted that it was cooked medium rare. I was taken aback. I clarified that I wanted it medium rare, meaning pink in the center with a bit of blood, pointing to my fiancé's steak, which was cooked correctly. The manager replied, "So you want it rare?" I paused and insisted, "No, I want it medium rare." He took the steak away and brought me a new one, asking me to cut into it. To my dismay, the steak was so undercooked that it was still cold in the middle when I touched it. The manager, smugly, asked what was wrong now, and I said, "This steak is inedible." He was extremely rude and created a scene during our dinner. Thankfully, I was with family, but I've never encountered such unprofessional service in my life. I sincerely hope that manager is fired. Throughout our meal, our waitress never returned to check on our drink refills or ask how everything was going. While part of this was her fault, she was clearly stretched too thin with multiple tables. The restaurant lost out on a good amount of business since we would have liked to order 2-3 more drinks to celebrate the birthday properly. My recommendation is to avoid this place; there are plenty of other steak restaurants in the area.
