Rifugio Viote - Italia Trento

Fortunately, in the week in which I stayed at the Viote refuge, the old management closed. With this experience I can confirm all the terrible reviews I have read about it. I trust in the new announcement. The three peaks of Bondone deserve to be visited, panoramas that give you so much.

Rifugio immerso in un posto davvero carino a 200m dal parcheggio (forse troppo ampio), parco giochi e giardino del Muse. Il rifugio è a gestione familiare con offerta un po da migliorare. Vista la vicinanza alla strada non ci si aspetta un servizio di tipo baita alpina.

There are doubts about the quality of the catering offered by this refuge. Unfortunately I find myself on the side of those who did not like what they consumed. I entered at 1.15pm with the desire to dine on a mushroom-based first course, a desire that remained unanswered because the mushrooms were already finished. I tried the only dish of tagliatelle with meat sauce, a plentiful but truly sad dish, barely lukewarm but above all bland and tasteless. I didn 't expect Campofilone tagliatelle, but I didn 't expect such poor quality. I wanted to try a simple side dish of baked potatoes, not wanting to take risks with more elaborate dishes, well half the portion was edible, the other half was practically raw and remained on the plate. Perhaps the cook escapes the fact that raw potatoes are also toxic. I refrain from making judgments on the service and prices. I left in a hurry and I really don 't think I 'll come back even for free .
