Apparently, opinions differ. Our own experience was very positive! Fortunately, there was this option on our trip to Lihadonisia. After the disappointment of the islets, the captain took us from Kamena Vourla to Kavos for a swim. We saw the tavern and of course we went. All the flavors are top notch! Gavros, Atherina are reminiscent of other eras with more authentic flavors. Must visit!

I wonder about the less than 5 star reviews. What to say. We ordered: Fried calamari: excellent!! Pork skewers: excellent!!! Pork chop: delicious!! (XL) Village salad: finally village with tomatoes that are tomatoes and a huge quantity!!! Cheesy very good! And most importantly at affordable PRICES and not those that make your hair fall out! Well done guys!!! Anyone passing through Kavo MUST come and eat here!!! Service: Dine in

Ideal place for food with fresh ingredients (the best crayfish ever!! and smiling and cheerful staff! Family business with possibility for excursions to Lihadonisia, in combination with rooms for rent above!! Highly recommend for a quiet beautiful vacation! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Tavern Which also manages sunbeds and umbrellas, free if you take a drink or eat for lunch or dinner, as we did. The sea is fantastic, the food and service is also great. The only comment I feel like making is that if I take a Greek salad you can't charge for the feta cheese separately, as if it were an appetizer.
