Tuğra - Istanbul

I don’t normally write reviews but this deserves mentioning. I did the tasting menu on a recent trip to Istanbul. Absolutely terrible. Most of the dishes were beyond salty and had senseless pairings. Dry fish and peach sorbet? Only two dishes were worth mentioning a vegetable based dish with filo lattice dough on top and the oxtail. I had a delicious wine but the food was just not up to snuff. Would not recommend going here by any means. Atmosphere is not worth paying for inedible food.

It is almost impossible to connect wit the staff for reservation. If you are really patient and do not give up, you can make a reservation. Food flavors are really average. You get your money's worth not from the food but from the view of the palace overlooking the Bosphorus and the atmosphere of the place. All the dishes were average except for the cheese and butter they served for starters. You can go if you want to spend a special time with a good sightseeing, but if you are looking for delicious food, there are much better places in Istanbul.

From the moment we entered, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. Emre İnanır’s attention and expertise in crafting the most exquisite Ottoman cuisine made our evening exceptional. The passion and creativity that Chef İnanır brings to each dish were evident in every bite, leaving us in awe of the flavors and presentation. Not only did he elevate our dining experience, but he also took the time to personally engage with us, sharing his insights and making us feel incredibly valued as guests. Tuğra Restaurant surpassed our expectations, and I wholeheartedly recommend it as an absolute must-visit for anyone seeking a remarkable culinary journey in Istanbul. Thank you, Chef Emre İnanır, and the entire Tuğra team, for making my birthday celebration extraordinary!

Bir doğum günü yemeği için gittik. Çalışanlar ilgili ve hizmet beklentimin üzerindeydi. Başlangıçtan tatlıya tüm yemeklerin sunumu çok başarılıydı. Testi Kebabı ve Türk Tatlı Tabağı denedik. En kısa sürede bir daha gitmek istediğim restoranlardan bir tanesi.

Dekor...ambiyans harika . Muhtesem manzaranin üstüne bir de menüdeki lezzet eklenince FEVKALEDENIN FEVKINDE demek gerekiyor ..
