Muhit - Istanbul

Good, but it takes forever to serve you. Sometimes I’m being ignored like I’m invisible.

It's a nice spot for a chat with your friends. Good menu with lots of choices as well.

The restaurant is conveniently located within walking distance from Tophane metro station and Istanbul Modern Art Museum. It is a popular spot for students and local artists from the nearby college. The restaurant's setting by the sea, narrow streets, and shaded grape trees provide a cool oasis during hot summer days. Muhit has plenty of seating options both indoors and outdoors, and offers a variety of refreshing items on its menu. Some waiters are fluent in English, making it easy for international visitors to communicate.

Out of all the cafes in this area, I believe this one is my favorite. The staff are friendly and the menu is satisfactory. We tried three dishes and they were all enjoyable. The flavors were not outstanding, but it is evident that they put in effort to make them unique. I appreciate the charcoal grills they use for cooking. The seating area is a bit cramped for my taste and the restrooms are not very comfortable.

This is the best avocado toast I have ever had. It's been 8 years since we visited, but we haven't been able to forget about this place.
