Solid. I had only one arier and tasted the dishes of my friends. Lense soup and mixed grill. Lense soup was good. brot came out hot after the suppen.

The mixed grill is great! it had moist pieces of lamb, huh and bark meat. Lens soup wonderful, very creamy and went well with the fresh brot. service is.

Had the Cesme Special. it was great. also a lot. also the mixed grill and kefteh were good.

The restaurant sits on a corner where you can see the hectic traffic, but it is lovely to observe. eating is tremendous, no matter what they order and they offer free Turkish tee at the end of their meal. great staff that makes wonderful recommendations if they don't know what to eat. highly recommended!

I recommend Tarihi Çeşme Restaurant as a must-try place for anyone visiting Istanbul. We found this restaurant on our very first night and kept coming back for dinner at the end of each day when we were there. The food is great with traditional Turkish meals and lots of options. I'd recommend trying the Çeşme special kebab and the Iskender kebab which were my favourites. The location is also very good since it's close to the hotel quarter and the main attractions on this side of the city, and the place is very clean with great atmosphere. Both the owner and the staff are very friendly and offer very good service overall dining experience.
