Buffalo Grill - Issoire

This was our first visit to a Buffalo Grill so we did not know what to expect. We were given a complimentary salad on sitting down, brought warm fresh bead and supplied with chilled water prior to ordering. There was a good range of food to order including meat and fish. There was a good range of drinks including aperitifs. We enjoyed the meal it was value for money and we ended up visiting a second one later in the week.

Stayed at the Ace hotel and decided to dine here. The food was good as expected but the whole dining experience ruined by a waitress who barely spoke to us. There were a few grunts when we attempted to ask about menu items. I attempted to ask for salt as she passed the table but she just stared and walked past. The bottle of wine was banged down on the table as were the dinner plates and I had to grab two glasses from another table after waiting approx 5/6 mins. This young lady just did not want to be there. She also had a slight aroma of stale sweat. Bad experience

We ate here September 2015, the food was good. American style steaks and burgers. Good location next to the motorway

After reading other reviews of this restaurant it seemed a good choice to eat as it was very close to the Ace hotel where were staying overnight in Issoire.When we arrived at 8.00 there was a long queue waiting for a table, a good sign possibly. Luckily the wait was short as was the time to deliver our order. Unluckily our food was poor. My wife's chicken was dry and my rack of ribs was barely warm. After reheating they were barely hot enough to eat. All very disappointing.Although the staff were attentive we couldn't believe the French clientele would queue for such a poor dining experience.

Good value for money with friendly waiters. We went on Saturday early afternoon when it was busy but still had speedy service. Nice to walk around the lake which is located nearby after the meal.
