Bidrage med feedbackWrite this review after stuffing me with her sunday brunch. the place looks stunning and I still have no idea why it is a dead puppenhaus, it is a particularly creepy name for this pretty restaurant. we choose the groundless brunch, because why not? there is a choice of mimosen or **** mary for £15 and I give a thumb up to both actually additional points on the **** mary, which she happily ordered every time garnish our group of 7 quite everything from the Sunday Brunch menu and my favorites were the shakshuka and the most beautiful American pancakes with toffee syrup shattered. the only thing that was not the most impressive here was that...read more
It has been forever since I had a real, groundless brunch, and what a deal! for £15 we had delivered several **** mary’s and pitches of mimosa (previously even ask! in an absolutely charming setting. sometimes I find it difficult to get a great **** in london, but these young people don't have it.
Unfortunately I did not have a great experience at this place. Four of us went for bottomless brunch so you pay £15 extra for bottomless mimosas or **** Mary's. Menu was fairly small but enough choice. After 45 minutes our food still hadn't arrived and we had to ask for our carafes of mimosas to be refilled. Further other tables had bottles of prosecco on their table with orange juice but we had pre made ones which was slightly odd. When the food arrived it did not come at once there was about a ten minute gap. To be fair to the place they did not charge us for the food. Just felt the organisation and service was missing. Possibly a good bar to go to though.
Note this is part of a longer 12 hours in the life of Matt The List post, so you may want to check the full post on the blog for some context, or at least check out Sutton Sons fish chips where we were immediately beforehand... 7.15pm Meet Islington local Cath outside The Dolls House on Upper Street, the latest hand drawn hangout from Adam Towner and Katy Gray Rosewarne, set over three floors that used to belong to House of Wolf. Antica Formula is greatly appreciated. 8pm The house starts to fill up with familiar faces. We check out...read more
3.5 This place is nice. A bit dark. The waiters are good. And with many groups of women the vibe is good. The food isn’t so good. By simply improving that I would increase my stars. I would go back as the bottomless was good!
