Fabulous place, not to be missed. I had home-made mushroom spinach soup with German seeded bread which were both delicious. The sachertort and strudel looked amazing..
Choose a spot in the garden or the winter garden to enjoy a delicious egg dish, apple strudel, or Sachertorte with ice cream, accompanied by tea, coffee, or a German beer. It's a wonderful place to unwind and treat your taste buds. The service is friendly, and they offer Wi-Fi, of course.
I decided to write this review since there weren't any others, and I believe it's worth sharing. Although I’ve never stayed at a bed and breakfast, the café is fantastic! The vast majority of the food is freshly prepared, and the apfelstrudel is the best I’ve ever had. The service is excellent, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I’ve been visiting Scilly for nine years, and I can confidently say that the café is the best on the island!
This restaurant is fantastic! The home-cooked meals have a delightful German twist and are served by friendly staff in a lovely winter garden or outdoor setting. The soups were outstanding, and the apple strudel was the best I've ever tasted. While the meat and cheese platters looked excellent, the soup and strudel were more than enough for a satisfying lunch. We found this to be the best food on the Scilly Isles, making it a must-visit spot for lunch. Highly recommended!
