Hong Kong Express - Isle of Wight

We ordered food for pickup and it cost us £38.70, while our local Chinese restaurant in Newport charges £28 for delivery. When we arrived to pick up our order, we asked if it came with free prawn crackers, but they said no, which is usually included at other Chinese restaurants when you spend a certain amount. The dishes were all dry and not filled to the top. We would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I ordered my regular #68 dish with a side of boiled rice. The food was served very hot, along with a warm side plate. The staff at this restaurant are always friendly and it's nice to see familiar faces. Thank you once again.

This restaurant did not meet expectations. The food was bland, arrived cold, and ended up in the trash. When we called to complain, they requested a photo, so we showed them the food in our bin. The kitchen manager then asked us to remove the food from the bin, including the fallen chips, so they could take it back to the restaurant instead of refunding us. We found this request unhygienic and unnecessary, as we had already provided the photo they asked for.

Really cheeky. It's only cash and carry food. Five and a half quid for chicken satay but only two skewers. Very average food (except for the bill) Lovely young chap delivered but it took the mickey, just such measly portions.... and they REALLY do know how to charge. I'm a local but NEVER again!!!!

Just ordered a takeaway from here and it was quite expensive and of poor quality. I won't be ordering from here again.
