Hong Kong City - Isle of Wight

While we were in the lower hyde, we ordered ourselves at hong kong city. it had to be the worst Chinese food I ever tried! eating was cold, tasteless, slimy and unusable. it was all thrown into the müll. the restaurant was indifferent when we spoke to them. we cannot order regularly as we are on holiday, but this food was substandard beyond believe. they avoid. very disappointing.

I have used this place for years and can honestly say I was never disappointed always great eating

We visit the island at least times in the year and come here since I was a child and always fought to find a good Chinese take, but as luck we had it in the channel view hotelschaftlin that. also fantastic in December. we ordered to deliver on a Sunday evening and it was delivered piping hot, portioning where great and would highly recommend and order with trust, stunning eating. .... also want the owners for the calendar for that was a big gift xxxxx

I was in lower hyde, just on the road. order my food on their website to collect at got there and my food was ready! I went back to my accommodation (about minutes) and eating was still hot....Portion size was really good and the sauces are massive! I like this takeaway and it is in a great, comfortable location.

Ordered take away when staying close by. Very bland. Beef mushroom had no taste and special Chow Mein wasn't special in any way, it was all noodles and hardly any meat. We didn't enjoy it.
