Bidrage med feedbackWe popped in here for sausage rolls pasties and bread pudding on our holiday The best sausage rolls I've had for a long time and the lady who served me was so lovely
Had a good breakfast, lovely polite ladies in nice yellow aprons on the counter, the staff in the kitchen would of presented better if they also had the yellow apron, pasty’s and sandwich’s look great with lots of choices, I had the breakfast, it was ok, bacon was tasty I was not so keen on the sausage. But it was freshly cooked.
I stopped for lunch at Daisy's Bakery and Tea Rooms, it looked quite inviting and also I desperately needed to escape the torrential rain. I had a nice welcome when I arrived, there was a varied menu and everything was reasonably priced. The coffee was very good and the jacket potato was very filling, it set me up for the afternoon. A very nice cafe with friendly staff members, a short walk up the hill from Sandown Pier.
I want to thank everyone at Daisys for a wonderful lunch and a break from the rain during our day out in Sandown. We enjoyed a delicious sausage and egg sandwich on freshly baked bread, my son had a tasty gingerbread man, and we both had fresh coffee and fruit juice. The staff were friendly and welcoming, providing us with coloring paper and pens for our oldest son. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would love to visit again in the future!
We ordered two cream teas, which were okay although they did not come with butter. Instead, we received a pot of jam and clotted cream. The scones were slightly dry but still decent. The pot of tea was generous, giving us two cups each. The price was £3.95 per cream tea.
