Bidrage med feedbackMy husband and I first dined at Tredici in late 2022 and vowed to return if we ever found ourselves in Beaumaris again. We were able to book a table for the same evening and were hoping for the same exceptional experience we had the first time. We were not let down. My husband ordered the Cod dish, which he described as the best fish he had eaten since a trip to Anzio years ago. I opted for the Lasagne, which was absolutely perfect. For dessert, we both enjoyed the chocolate fondant and cheesecake, both of which were excellent. The waitress who served us that evening was outstanding - attentive, friendly, and polite without being overbearing. Needless to say, our return visit to Tredici did not disappoint and we will definitely be returning again in the future.
During my week in Beaumaris, I frequented various coffee spots in town each morning. One such spot was a Deli and Butcher by day, transforming into a restaurant at night. Despite its multiple functions, I did not have the opportunity to dine in the evening. As a coffee shop, it was rather unremarkable during my visit. With only one staff member overseeing both the Deli and coffee shop, I missed out on exploring their cake selection and had my coffee served in a paper cup. The only positive aspect was that the coffee was served hot, and there were separate male and female restrooms upstairs (if you noticed the paper notice on the wall).
To begin with, the restaurant is located upstairs from the deli, so it may not be visible when making a reservation. The layout of the restaurant consists of several rooms, and we were seated in the farthest room at the back. Despite not being overly crowded, we experienced a long 40-minute wait for our meals, with no drinks in sight. Although the pasta dishes we ordered were satisfactory, the overall organization was lacking. There was confusion with the menu options, as the menu we were given did not match the one displayed outside on the street. Additionally, there were discrepancies with the fish of the day, with some menus listing salmon while others listed cod. This led to mix-ups with orders. As we were leaving, we witnessed arguments at two other tables regarding the slow service. Overall, the experience was disappointing and we were eager to depart. It was not a memorable dining experience.
Great little place in the middle of Beaumaris. We went to order a takeaway pizza. It was pouring with rain, they invited us in, let us sit down whilst waiting. The team were friendly and helpful. Be warned though card payments only. Pizzas themselves were lovely. We had a marguerita and an Anglesey special with lamb mince which was definitely different! Would have been nice to have a seafood special as so close to the sea. Highly recommend.
This is a fantastic food emporium and coffee shop. All locally sourced vegetables, meat and home made jams and sauces. All fantastic. A must visit in Beaumaris.
