The cafe should improve their coffee offerings. However, a positive aspect is the kids park, which shows a commendable effort in providing a good experience for children. With a little more effort, this place could easily become a 5-star attraction.
The restaurant has a bit of a community cafe vibe, so be prepared for that. The lack of staff caused long waits to order and receive food, which caused issues for other customers. The sandwiches were average, but the location was beautiful with ample parking and public restrooms.
This cafe is conveniently located in the country park. We were fortunate to visit on a Friday when they were open. I had a refreshing pot of tea and indulged in some delicious homemade cakes. I particularly enjoyed the very lemony lemon drizzle cake. The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, with friendly staff and great value for money. I highly recommend a visit.
Lovely cooked breakfast at a very reasonable price, which included toast and a hot drink. We were so impressed, we went back again the following morning! The staff were very friendly had helpful too.
Compared to a lot of cafes we’ve tried this week this cafe was amongst the best mainly because it was open and serving food at 3.30pm! They have a dog friendly room, toilets and serve the usual cakes, toasties, chips etc. the food was freshly made, tasty and cheap. The staff were also really friendly and made a fuss of our dog.
