New York Bagel Co - Islandia

The best bagels in the world, and their food is absolutely delicious!

I ordered a bacon and cheese sandwich with two eggs on a roll, but instead received scrambled eggs on a plain bagel with bacon and cheese. I also ordered two everything bagels and a plain bagel, but I didn't receive the plain bagel at all.

The young women at the front counter were incredibly friendly while taking my order. The food was prepared quickly and was absolutely delicious! I would rate it 10/10 and will definitely be returning soon. Highly recommended!

I visited the restaurant hoping to enjoy a breakfast sandwich and a turkey sandwich with extra toppings, but I ended up feeling quite disappointed. The breakfast sandwich was lacking in flavor, with only the sausage and cheese standing out. As for the turkey sandwich, I specifically requested lettuce, tomato, and cheese, along with salt, pepper, and vinegar; unfortunately, they forgot the tomatoes, salt, and pepper. The sandwich was dry, and they didn’t even offer any dressing or mayo. To make matters worse, I witnessed the manager scolding one of the cashiers for prioritizing a customer's request to re-toast their bread over her instructions. Living in Islandia, I would have preferred to travel to the Bronx and visit a corner deli, where I at least know I would receive exactly what I ordered.

In my opinion, the amount of cream cheese isn't sufficient for a bagel that costs almost $7. It's quite disappointing.
