Charsi is not for the average Joe who wants a well rounded meal with veggies and all! Nyet. This is a meat lovers hangout and proud of it. Ordering beforehand and knowing what order is key, including when to go for your meal.

The food is ok. Lamb tikka and karahi were not as moist as they are in Peshawar. Chapal kebab were tasty and well made.

In the old village of Said Pur, Charsi Tikka is a good solution for the appetite of meat lovers. They serve various meat items with indoor and outdoor sitting option. They are famous for there Karahi but I'd personally recommend their Chappal Kababs. They're both delicious and economical. And their special weird shaped crispy Naan is also worth trying. The staff there was courteous and service was good.

Great food. 99% close to the original. Good seating. Servers are a bit slow but that's true for all restaurants in Islamabad.
