Romaine's - Isla Vista

Best food on campus, hands down. Best bang for buck as well!

The food at this restaurant is quite nutritious, although it often goes unnoticed. I haven't sampled anything other than the salads, but they do provide imitation crab meat as a protein option, which is a refreshing alternative to the typical chicken I usually choose for my salads. You also pay by weight. Regarding the UCEN, being a campus venue, it tends to get quite crowded during lunch hours. It's an excellent spot to socialize, as professors, staff, administrators, and students all gather here to eat together.

The prices are on the higher side, and the quality of the ingredients used in the salads isn't great. There are definitely better alternatives just a short walk away that provide higher quality food at more affordable prices.

Romaines is amazing! Even though I haven't eaten there yet, it's hard to go wrong with a salad. What really stands out to me are their YouTube videos—they're outstanding. They represent everything great marketing should aim for. I'm a big fan!
