So this time I decided for the fish cube. 5 Pesos added to each dish. I have: Fishceviche (5/5, 125 Pesos love that they contain a Habanero pepper. Huevos con chaya (3.5/5 Guacamole (5/5 Tikin Xic, also labeled Filete Isleño elsewhere (4.5/5 this time not as good as the last time, but still very tasty, especially with the hot sauce 390 Pesos for all that. The medley of octopus and fish (I asked to exclude cooked shrimp comes along with the much more amount of black pepper they add, it really makes a difference, and in a good way. I also have the Snapper Tikin Xic (pronounced Sheek, how chic, which was creepy looking but delicious. I say scary because it has a bright red adobo esque marinade, but taste it, and you will get it again, all for the great price of 125 pesos (I have it as takeout, so the 5 pesos are added to. The reviews Docks of egg dishes made me hesitate, but I'm glad I tried! Super sweet staff also: Open daily 8 a.m. 4 a.m.
Good breakfast, lunch and dinner. How home cooked food and reasonable prices
This was our favorite place to have lunch on Isla. Wait staff was great, prices were more then fair and the wait was short, even when they were busy. The chicken and cheese quesadilla and chicken and cheese empanadas were the best we have ever had anywhere (they use like a corn masa for both and it’s what really sets them apart). In fact on our last day we weren’t even hungry but went here anyways to eat because we knew we’d both regret it when we got home. It’s amazing food and we miss it already.
Delicious food, great service. A bang for your buck!
Inexpensive, small portions for about $70 MXN each. We ordered 2x Eggs Bacon (1 slice per order), 1 Mexican Omelette, 1 Scrambled Eggs Sausage (sliced hot dogs), fried plantains, OJ, and water. Staff (4 people) was friendly however the service was slow. We were one of 2 tables seated but still took 45mins to get our food. The food was somewhat bland but the salsa had a nice kick Total came to $360 MXN
