Las Q Comadres - Isla Mujeres

I have been waiting for this restaurant to get on TripAdvisor. First of all, you must try their ice cream. Coconut ice cream comes in a coconut shell, pineapple in a pineapple shell, etc. The restaurant is small and doesn't look like much. There are only a couple of tables located on the street. The prices for food are excellent. I recommend the tortas, tacos, and enchiladas. DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT TRYING THE ICE CREAM!

Ils nous ont eut avec le spécial 4 tacos ( pollo, pastor ou pescado) et 2 cervezas pour 85 pesos, ce qui est un excellent deal! Plusieurs dans le coin offrent la même chose, mais à 3 tacos au lieu de 4 ici ! Est-ce que la qualité est supérieure ailleurs? Je n'en sais rien et mon souper ma pleinement satisfait...mon gars s'est régalé de la soupe au poulet ! Allez s'y les yeux fermés.

Las Q Comadres is tucked amongst other taco joints like Compadres and Don Chepo who all advertise 3 tacos + 2 beers for 85 pesos. And I usually pass a deal up so when I saw that Las Comadres was offering a special of 4 tacos + 2 sodas/beers for the same price, we gave in and had ourselves a quick light meal that, in total, cost 100 pesos to include some tip. Quick and easy.The food was quite decent. We've had fish tacos elsewhere and we actually preferred the taste of the fish tacos here at this little taco joint. The tortilla of the tacos weren't the best but they served their purpose in holding the delicious toppings on. The fish toppings definitely made up for the lackluster tortilla. Plus with such a decent meal on a cheap budget - I can't complain!This place also serves cold desserts like ice cream, however, we did not indulge in that after our meal since we were pressed for time. However it seemed like they had quite a broad selection since they had an entire separate menu dedicated to just cold desserts.
