Britannia - Isipingo

We are from Gauteng and when we come to Durban (twice a year) this is one of the places we have to eat at. We have been eating here for many years now and it's just gotten better and better. Our most recent visit(11/7/2017) was by far the best. They have revamped their dining room and the menu and the food was out of this world(the veg thaali option was amazing for our vegetarian mum). Compliments to the chef on the taste and presentation. We also had the most competent waiter whose name was Donald. We will make sure that we come back.

Food was to die for, the service leaves much to be desired. Waited 20 minutes to be attended to. Then they forgot our drinks order. Waited mother 20 minutes for the food to arrive. Need to Jack up the service. Genuinely felt forgotten about by the waitress.

Fabulous food, good atmosphere and friendly waiters. If they are busy you may wait awhile for your food. We took overseas visitors there and they raved about it. There were 4 children in our group and they didn't wait long for their food. We go there often and are never disappointed.
