Magnuson Country Inn - Ishpeming

The temp was 72.5 degrees and it wouldn't work. The front desk person was the worst person to ever deal with making things really complicated after a super long drive. It's overpriced . The front desk guy was also checking out my woman and yes this is her husband writing this right now. Worst place by far would rather sleep in a car. And the AC unit sounds like a squirrel is dying in thereNoteworthy details: It's a bad place

I'm not sure what the bad reviews are about. We found it clean, spacious and the front desk was nice. They even texted me immediately when my daughter left her blanket behind. The pool and sauna were great after a long few days too. We will return.Rooms: Slightly outdated but clean and pretty large for a hotel. Has everything you need, fridge and microwave. Room stayed 80 degrees. AC was not working hotel was full and paid almost $185 to lay in a sauna all night. Mentioned issue to desk clerk and she replied ok and continued to eat her sandwhich. Horrible price horrible stay and worse of all horrible customer service. True victim of demand and supply. They cared less because they got double the money for a room worth $60!

Clean rooms, fast check in, front desk friendly, has a pool, has a small meeting room, only a continental breakfast plan to eat somewhere else, sitting area by front desk, the outside is kept up.Need new windows, can hear all traffic on hwy.I recommend this place, price right and value for your dollar.Rooms: Nice roomsWalkability: Restaurants and some shopping close by
