The Osteria del Vicoletto is situated in a small street away for the crown, lovely and calm courtyard, food is very delicious, friendly service

Reading the positive reviews we decided to have lunch here. The staff was very friendly but the quality of food was unfortunately not what we expected. Lack of flavors in all dishes, the beef stale of my daughter has a funny taste and was probably not fresh anymore. My main course, seafood trofie had no taste whatsoever. The staff mixed up my wife’s order and though we accepted it, we were billed for the dish we never received and which had cost more. Would not go there again.

Best seafood pasta! The mussels tasted really fresh and the tomato sauce is one of a kind. Another highlight were the potatoes with rosemary. The waitress was very sweet and understands English well.

Tirned ip at evening opening time on a Sunday. No problem getting a table, staff very helpful and polite. Served quickly but not rushed and had a lovely meal

Firstly, and I guess most importantly, the food was pretty good here. However, the service is very, very slow and whilst they refer to themselves as a 'slow food ' establishment they seem to cause this themselves. For example, when we entered we were ignored for at least 10 minutes...left standing at the entrance. Then they seemed confused when we said we had a reservation (via the Fork) and we needed to provide evidence. Then we sat at our table for 40 minutes before our drinks order was taken. Overall the experience for us was extremely disappointing......and two other tables next to ours were laughing out loud at the chaotic nature of the service....obviously they had a similar experience to ourselves (e.g. why did they think it was OK to bring out a plate of french fries separately to the main meal....which appeared 20 minutes later. There are better places to eat in Iseo so my advice would be to avoid this one.....unless you are a Fawlty Towers fan of course.
