Bidrage med feedbackWe were in this restaurant on May 1st, therefore medium low season for Ischia. The owners welcomed us warmly, showing us the catch of the day and explaining the menu. The restaurant is family run and it was very nice to be able to talk to the owners who, being locals, told us about their island. As an appetizer we took the seafood mosaic for two people, the fish was very fresh and the combination with the berry and lime sauce was excellent; furthermore, the very kind owner offered us a glass of prosecco to accompany the oysters. As the main course we chose the gurnard (which was part of the catch of the day) from which they created a single dish which included artisanal paccheri with gurnard sauce and red and yellow tomatoes and, on the side, the gurnard fillet. For dessert we had a basket of filo pastry with a very light limeme cream and, on top, some red fruits; it was very delicate and went very well after fish. To drink we tried a local wine, Biancolella, light and fruity, perfect with fish. Our experience was absolutely positive: the freshness of the food, the location, the kindness and warmth of the staff made our last day in Ischia perfect. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Great dishes and unique welcome. Very good appetizers in tempura, to taste absolutely the genoese of rabbit to the ischitana. Friendly and professional staff who recommended us food and wine matching, which showed us the fish of the day and that made us feel pampered for the whole evening.
