Bidrage med feedbackI was really disappointed with my recent experience at Bombay Chowpatty Irving. I had heard good things about the place, so I was expecting some great Indian street food. However, I was very underwhelmed with the food I ordered. The chaat was bland and the dosa was sour, dry and tasteless. The food wasn't flavorful or well seasoned. The service was also subpar. The staff was not welcoming or attentive. The server was impolite and dismissive, and she kept speaking Spanish to another woman while glancing at us. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The atmosphere was also very underwhelming. The restaurant was dirty, hot and crowded. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It's should have gone to Desi District instead. If you're looking for a great place to try Indian street food in Irving, I highly recommend Desi District. I'm sure you'll enjoy your experience!you
(Reviewed in November 2016, NOT SURE IF IT IS THE SAME ANY MORE)Easily The best Bombay Indian Fast Food Joint in Dallas So far, and yes it is Tres Mumbai preparation(unusually the fastfood here is not junkfood at all as opposed to expectations)Its a very decent spot honestly.CHECK OUT THE UPLOADED PICS.PLACE :Definitely found this to be MMMUUUCCCHH better than India chat house in plano.....Even for Non Indians. VEERRRYYY BUSY always.CUISINE :Indian Fast Food and Snacks, Supper, Brunch.FOOD :Very tastefull, minted, delicious, Not too spicy at all, just the right way of flavours, lllooottss of varietymust try SAMOSA CHAAT, BOMBAY SPECIAL PAV BHAJI, PANEER FRANKIE.We ordered samosa chaat, bhel, paapdi chaat, sev puri, BombayChowpaty Dosa (basically pav bhaji flavoured dosa that we get in actual bombay in India and its a decent hit) veg puffs, Paneer frankie, chaas and sweet lassiAll of our food was great and was NOT over powering at all, we felt like ordering still more but well we had reached too late and it was closing time. If you see pics u would realize that even closing time is much more busy.AMBIENCE and STAFF :Contemporary, subtle, more like an actual chowpaty cooking bench module installed in an indoor restaurant and is slightly themed for so. its a cozy area.staff is frndly, some of them are very sweet, the owner is frndly and is actually from bombay so is very competent with his work.
Hi,Just wanted to share friendly as the legacy of Indian Fast food serving to the community.Today I did not have a good experience. with the very patience I called and associated not even apologies for the thing that i faced on my food. As a regular consumer of Faluda I know how it is supposed to be. She said this we made that every day. please take a look image)I'm attaching the snap for the Rose Faluda that I ordered. Almost more than 30 minutes after I made Faluda; After I reached the office, Faluda still had very dry yellow noodles and was very hard. And milk like heavy old few days cream.Hope get better serving quality in future in value of the money what community spending. ref tran: 28Apr2023;1:18:30P;O:13.
Went with a group of 10 people in my family (kids adults). Indian street food served in a cozy ambience! Took me back to my younger days growing up in India. Tons of options to choose from. Considering I was just visiting Dallas for a weekend, it was good I went in wtoth large group, so could try out a variety of things on the menu.Pani puri (love served on the counter), Gobi paratha, Pav bhajji and Rasmalai were my favorites in this one visit. But really can't miss on pretty much anything on the menu. Go bold or go home ?The staff is great as well. The folks at the register were polite and even chatted up with me to give me recommendations on things I could get.All in all- a great place to get a taste of authentic India with a different beat.
Their specials are good gotos but lately I’ve been trying their sandwiches and other items. Their club sandwiches are great. Here is their double paneer surprise. The best value thing on their menu are their vada pavs. Here is the junglee vada pav and their fries. Be sure to ask questions about their menu items, they have lots of good stuff.
