Yeemy Yummy Bento Box Rougamo - Irvine

We came here last weekend for lunch, I ordered the teriyaki chicken bento box after trying a really good bento box from Goban (the Korean restaurant in the same storefront). Unfortunately the bento box was in separate containers so not exactly a bento box and it came with the chicken, steamed rice, a choice of side which I got the steamed veggies which was just broccoli, and a side of some kind of sesame fried peanuts. The food was just okay but not great. The chicken almost seemed like it was breaded slightly and then cooked but not grilled or anything like that with sauce. The rice seemed cheap tasting and not great. Overall it was just okay but I probably wouldn't order the same thing if I came back. I still prefer the bento box from the Goban.

This store is a part of the Smart Kitchen model. It's a good idea on paper but the execution is very poor. We waited over 40 mins for fast take out!! Food was just mediocre, nothing special. Will not go back, don't bother with this place unless you're ok with slow service.

Chicken teriyaki rogamo: chicken was flavorful and the bread wasn't overly dry XLB: Avoid! The skin was thick and the stuffing( pork) was of very low quality

If you order online, add about 20-30 minutes to whenever it says your order is ready. Wasted a lunch break just waiting for food that should have been done before I arrived.EDIT: Gave 4 stars cause the food is actually pretty dang tasty.

Delicious pork and eggs, super amazing and filling. Will definitely go again!
