Taco Rosa - Irvine

We chose to sit outside, where the ambiance was lovely, though the couch-like seating was a bit unusual and it was rather sunny and hot that day. The food exceeded my expectations. We were served a complimentary appetizer of two cheese rolls accompanied by a salad on a crispy tostada, which was a nice touch. The burrito I ordered came with three sauces and was adorned with what looked like the Mexican flag—very cool presentation. My Alambre Tortas, which featured steak and speck, was quite different from the standard tortas I usually encounter. Instead of having the filling of a burrito between two slices of bread, it had a quesadilla-like feel, though it was not exactly that (check out the pictures). The pineapple agua fresca was also very refreshing. I'm definitely looking forward to returning since they offer breakfast as well. Plus, they have churros with chocolate sauce that I need to try, but remember to order them a bit early as they take 8-10 minutes to prepare. Overall, great service, delicious food, originality, and reasonable prices!

One of the first things that caught my eye was the appealing menu. Maybe it's just me, but I found it impressive. Typically, I order a burrito to assess a Mexican restaurant, so I chose one on this occasion. I appreciated the creative twist, as they incorporated ingredients like spinach and other fresh items instead of just the usual rice and beans. Beans are served on the side for those who want them. While the burrito was a medley of delicious flavors, it was the churro that truly stole the show. Who doesn’t love cinnamon and chocolate? This dessert beautifully combines both, making it an exquisite treat. The combination of reasonably priced dishes and high-quality cuisine makes this restaurant well worth a visit. It's a fantastic spot, even though it's part of a chain.

I visited Taco Pink for Sunday dinner and found that many others were also waiting for a table. As a previous reviewer mentioned, Taco Pink offers dishes at various price points, making it a great value overall. It's an excellent place to spend your money and time while enjoying great food. I also attended their Sunday champagne brunch, which features a mandatory buffet until 2 PM, and at $15.95, it’s a fantastic deal. The burrito bar was great, and there was a variety of Mexican dishes, along with delicious churros served with chocolate dip and chocolate-dipped strawberries.
