Puesto - Irvine

My first time here. We all chose a combination of 3 tacos. I had a shrimp, a short rib and a mushroom. The shrimps were by far my favorite, the sauce is really good... with a hint of sweetness for balance and something exotic. The short rib was a delicate and tasty second and the mushroom, although good, I would most likely not order again, but a nice alternative for vegetarians and vegans. A little expensive at $9.00 $10.00 per taco, but the portions are good... 2 tacos would have been a lot. The staff was friendly, the service was good and it has a nice atmosphere.

Really enjoyed our dinner here last night. The staff were all super friendly even though we changed tables multiple times and ended up sitting at the bar. All the tacos we tried were amazing except for the chicahronnes appetizer. Those were store bought garbage with lime sprinkled on the top. Stay away from those and you'll be good. My Old Fashioned was made with a single giant pure ice cube which was great. Highly recommend and I would sit at the bar again.

The tacos were incredible! They really excel at every aspect of taco-making. I especially enjoyed the use of their homemade blue corn tortillas, which added a unique flavor. Tacos weren't the only dish we tried and loved; the ceviche was outstanding as well. We also can't forget about the drinks. I highly recommend this place for a fantastic lunch or dinner!

They offer tequila and mezcal flights, but we opted for margaritas instead. The selection was intriguing, and we chose the Bartender's Choice and the Hot Sauce for a spicy kick. Both were fantastic! Overall, the food was excellent. The warm blue corn tortillas and the salsa bar, which featured a wide variety of salsas, were highlights. I highly recommend this place for delicious food, great drinks, and a wonderful atmosphere.

The tacos were excellent, and the restaurant was bustling with activity. The staff was friendly and did a fantastic job managing their workload. However, our table was located near the entrance, which meant we had many people passing by quite close to us. I deducted a star because the tacos were quite pricey.
