Ja Jiaozi Authenic Dumplings - Irvine

My general opinion is that all dishes are quite delicious, but seem a touch of Asian American fusion. The dumplings are all very tasteful, and I guess that they offer steamed, pan fried, and boiled dumplings that change the texture and taste of each of them. The simple dumplings with shrimp or pork are the best. The stylized, such as the flaming hot, were a novelty that was not so great. The green beans have great taste, and a semi-solid texture, while the bok choi was brighter with a white sauce and more spicy as they trim the green leaf party. The Mapo Tofu had a quite authentic taste, so you use a bit of Sichuan spices and Pixiam Doubanjiang or similar paprika to cook it. The beef dishes were also satisfactory, both fat and tasteful meat. I love the cumin and pepper seasoning on the beef berries and could even go with more for this top taste. I was afraid the honey black pepper beef would be too sweet, but it beats a good savory sweet balance, and the mushrooms were also very delicious. From my limited experience I don't think this is completely authentic, but I have the dishes I tasted and think it would be a great place to stop by and grab some dumplings.

This is a nice restaurant with good food and service. The dumplings and shrimps are delicious. Try the okra, it can change your opinion about the vegetables. It changed mine!

Best drinks in a Chinese restaurant! That's a must try here. Overall, I think that the restorer has no good variety for vegetarian people. Nor were we served well. Some of our appetizers came in after the entrees were even finished eating. I found some worries with the Veggie Chow Mein that I tried here, it was extra salty. Staff at this restaurant are great and very friendly. I appreciate that they give us sincere details about what the status of our food was in the kitchen. A good economic diner in Irvine area I feel.

So many delicious dumplings! Made with good ingredients, full taste. Would recommend Veggie or chicken dumplings! The staff was friendly and informative.
