Chronic Tacos - Irvine

Fish was sour. Corn tortillas were old and falling apart. Worst tacos I can remember having.

Today I went to Chronic Tacos in Irivne on a beautiful sunny afternoon. I ordered the carne asada, a two taco plate with lime, onions, cilantro and love salsa

I ordered a 2 Taco plate and was sadly disappointed. The carnitas I got for one had no flavor or even a hint of seasoning. The marinated chicken was a little better and ended up being OK. The rice and beans had no flavor at all as well, they definitely needed salt or something else. Customer service was pretty good though. Just cannot recommend the food.

You know I wanted to like this place. My 1st experience with them wasn't that great. However, I thought I'd give them another shot, hoping that the 1st time was just a fluke. Unfortunately, the Carne Asada tacos were cold, and the meat felt like it was from yesterday.Nothing special about it.

Not too big a fan of their burritos. Got California burrito, but the meat was salty, chewy, and lacking in flavor.
