Great place at the center of heraklion and beautiful interior style. nevertheless, very fair prices and very good and friendly advice to choose from dine and a completely friendly service team. had a perfect coffee and some beautiful and typical sweets from kreta. full recommended!

It is a sweet little restaurant in the heart of heraklion. we had a bougatza with Mizithra cheese and kissed and an Ekmek-Kadaifi cake. very different and delicious. now we want to try all other variations of bougatza and ekmek.

The eldest cafe in Heraklion, opened in 1922. They are famous for serving traditional Greek pies bougatsa. The store is at the lion square, where you can enjoy having your coffee and bougatsa while enjoying the view of the fountain. My favourite is the bougatsa with cheese, honey and nuts. The prices are affordable, and the staff are friendly and very quick. It 's a must if you 're visiting Heraklion. You won 't regret it.

This is an exceptionally well managed cafe/restaurant right on the Lion Sq. Prices are cheap, service is amazing and their menu is diverse. It also opens early, maybe 8am? I wish I found it on my first morning. I just talked to a waitress and she told me it opens at 6am and closes at 1pm. Amazing

I can highly recommend this place! VERY nice staff, great food and drinks. It is one of the few places around that opens up at 6am already which is very convenient if you arrive by ferry in the morning. We really enjoyed our time here. The cafe is placed at a nice square with a fountain, has an outdoor area and two seating areas inside. Good experience all around : !
