Thai Mookata Steamboat - Ipoh

Overall, it was a lovely dining experience. The ingredients were fresh and there was a variety of meat and sauce options to choose from. It cost RM40 for adults to eat everything. However, the soup bases (pork bone and tomyam) could use some improvement to enhance the flavor.

I have visited many steamboat restaurants in Ipoh, but this one stands out as the best value I have encountered. Upon arrival, I was welcomed by a friendly waiter and promptly seated. This restaurant truly lives up to the all-you-can-eat concept, offering a wide variety of seafood such as crabs, squid, prawns, scallops, mussels, and shells, as well as meat options like duck, chicken, lamb, and pork. They also provide spaghetti, rice, and red bean desserts. Additionally, they offer a variety of ice cream flavors, with durian, coconut, and mint being my personal favorites. Overall, the food is readily available and worth every penny.

Wow! This place has the best steam ship I've had for a long time. You have 4 types of broth to choose, and a buffet style selection of food and choose without time limit! You have to mix your meat, seafood, vegetables, noodles, drinks, cooked food, a range of diving sauce for you and to match your wishes, plus choose a selection of ice creams. There is literally something for everyone. If I had to make a comment, it would be that the soup spoon ratio is not proportional to the steamboat pot. The spoon is too big to fit into the pot, so the soup is a little bit laborious. Otherwise, good food, great service, courtesy and friendly staff and a very chilled atmosphere. I highly recommend this place. Thanks for the wonderful experience!
