Grandview Cafe's Round Ii

First off, the main bartenders at Round 2 are the most committed I have seen pretty much anywhere. Kate is there anytime I come in- even holidays. I am honestly shocked she doesn’t own the place at this point! Matt is also always super consistent behind the bar. Unlike many bartenders, he is friendly and very welcoming. It is nice walking into a place and seeing someone smiling behind the bar!As far as food… we really miss the old school round 2 food- especially the backyard fries!!! I am not really sure why there is a vegan focus here. People love meat with their bourbon.Atmosphere is pretty awesome. The seating is cozy and makes you feel like you are in an elevated friend’s basement.Overall, we love round 2, but it is the people who work there that make us come back- not necessarily the food.

Cool ambiance but unfortunately the food fell short. Started with hot pretzel and it was mediocre with LOADS of salt on it. We brushed it off but still, just okay. I had their main cauliflower veggie rice bowl, it sounded delicious. I decided last minute to add salmon to it and I 'm glad I did. It was the only thing good of the bowl. If you have a cauliflower rice bowl as the main hoorah, it should be pretty amazing with a topper of protein. All of the veggies, besides the mushrooms, were undercooked. No one likes to bite into a hard brussel sprout. We didn 't get much reply when I was honest about it, mainly a oh... But do hope they take into consideration if you offer a veggie bowl like that, it should be pretty darn good Atmosphere is cool!

Actually have never had the chance to eat here, but we've come a few times for cocktails and their drinks never miss the spot! Also love the atmosphere outside.

I literally noted them not to add onions on my burger because I am allergic to onions amd the burger came in with onions now I have allergy reaction. Y they do this? Never again ordering food with this trash fast food restaurant

Service was bad. Took awhile for the server to come. We had a couple minutes left before happy hour ended and the waitress said she would get our drinks in before, so we could make the deal. Drinks took forever to come. She didn't bring water or enough plates for our apps or even silverware. And at the end of the night, when she brought the bill, she said not all the drinks made it for Happy Hour (Even though the bill was time stamped at 7:59 pm) and she didn't offer to fix it or have a manager/someone capable adjust it. Frustrating.
