Bidrage med feedbackQuite possibly my favorite bar in all of Columbus. This is what a bar should be. No frills, good drinks, friendly service, dark, quiet, booths, good food. You get the sense that you're in a rich person's basement in 1974 (in a good way). You also get the sense that this is where mobsters would go to quietly discuss business (in a good way). No distractions mean good conversation, which is what bars are for. Also, try the brussel sprouts. Kid-friendliness: People brought their kids but idk why, I wouldn't suggest it
Honestly excited to come, but left disappointed. I think they boiled the brussel sprouts before roasting them, which ruined the flavor, and the other dishes were mid at best. The servers were friendly but it look a while to be served. I will sat they took the sprouts off the bill which was very kind. However, not one of the four dishes we got were particularly tasty.
Great food! We had cheese curds, Poutine and Loco Moco. Will be back to try the Stromboli.
Staff can be slow at times even when they're only 20 ft away from you which is annoying, but some of the best burgers and fries in the city
Here on a business trip and selected this restaurant for the menu and eclectic vibe. I started with the Midwestern Mule and ordered the strip steak and brussels sprouts. We ordered Meatballs and Polenta Fries as the appetizer. Both were yummy, although 2 meatballs as an appetizer was small portion. My colleagues ordered a Philly Cheesesteak and another ordered a White Pizza. I was disappointed with my steak as it was overcooked and tough (I ordered it medium) and the brussels sprouts were basically charred. I should have gone with the Poutine. Service was mixed. It took a long time to get our check and we had to flag server down. Restaurant was not that busy on a Wednesday evening.
