Szechuan House - Iowa City

The food is incredibly tasty, full of rich flavors, and the portion sizes are very generous. The customer service is outstanding—quick and efficient.

I visited this restaurant with a group of friends and sampled a variety of dishes, all of which were fantastic! My favorites were the two eggplant dishes, the rice (which was simple yet absolutely perfect), and the fried chicken! The service was outstanding, and despite being a large group, they were very accommodating.

Excellent service and tasty food. The atmosphere is pleasant for dinner. However, a few dishes might be a bit too salty.

Strongly recommended! We were passing through the town after Warren Buffets annul shareholders’ meeting and found this Best Sichuan food ever in my life and unbelievable and warm service that made each of our friend impressed! We ordered the fish, dumplings, a couple appetizers, and the pork rib soup! Must come back next time!
