Bidrage med feedbackBe honest, I could tell them about the boring old facility or whether the customer service is friendly and welcoming. but that's not what you want to know. they want to know if the chips taste good when the portions are large and if they get a good bang for their buck. I do not branch when I fish a chips, so I have no idea how many options the menu has. you will see my standard 1 draws, 2 kartoffelfritter, order 1 piece of fish. Yeah, I know a lot, but my fiancée doesn't marry me for my body, she's marrying me for my humor. I think I'm always coming to the Herbert-St kidnappings. the portions are not the largest I have found, but the chips are certainly some of the best. they are not too fat, and they are not too salty. my kartoffelfritters are always a little salty, but I like it. the blue cod here is incredible. when they visit invercargill, they need to make sure that they try the local blue kabeljau at least once while they are here! blue cod is always more expensive then hoki (kept), but it tastes much better. 1
Best place to go in the area for fish and chips. Their portions are good and large and their prices are very reasonable. The service is really quick, I can not remember ever waiting for more than 10 minutes for the food. The blue cod is great and the deep fried Mars bars are a family favorite.
Battered Blue Cod was absolutely delishious. Very plump, and the batter was wonderfully not soggy, floury or too thick bang on good crisp! Chips weren't to die for, but were still good.
This is our go to chippy as its just down the road from where we live. We usually come here and the food is hot and quick. Me my dad and my friend went here last night and we all ordered the blue cod and chips. I was sick and they both had diarrhea. We will be going to tjs from now on. Bye!
Only good thing about this place is the chips, the best in town. Have recently been buying them there regularly. Their battered blue cod tastes nice as it should always do, however is not worth the $7+ for such a small piddly piece. Also the young JHC schoolgirl on the counter should learn some customer service skills. Says nothing but a quick hello and the amount the order costs and when the order is called out. I assume that 's her who just answers with a hello when calling to make a phone order? Unprofessional for any business. Sorry
