Bombay Palace - Invercargill

We had an evening dining exprience about one month ago that is as good as it gets.  Great indian food and atmostphere amidst warm, comfortable and inviting surroundings. Well Done Bombay Palace Invercargill!!! We will be back!<br/ <br/ Cath and Doug

I have ordered takeout from this restaurant multiple times and eaten in once, and each experience was fantastic. The takeout area is separate so you don't have to wait uncomfortably in the restaurant. The takeout service is fast and efficient. The service inside the restaurant was good and attentive. On Wednesdays, you can get curries for only $13, which is an amazing deal. The curries here are without a doubt the best in town, way better than Little India, and they are also cheaper!

I have dined at this restaurant, as well as used their takeout and delivery services. I would give them 5 stars for each. Just 10 minutes ago, I ordered delivery and accidentally left my debit card at home. Despite this, the staff allowed me to keep the curry and pay for it when I retrieved my card. The gentleman who helped me was incredibly kind, and the food arrived within 15 minutes. Thank you to Bombay for consistently providing exceptional service. - Paige.

I've only been to Bombay Palace once but thoroughly enjoyed my experience. Staff were attentive and friendly the orders were taken promptly and the food arrived shortly thereafter. Our waiter was engaging and chatted to us about the curries we wanted to order. I'm taking one star off because the place itself is decorated slightly too much like a nightclub, but this wasn't a major issue.
