Innisfail fine cuisine

The most delicious India food I’ve had in years. So good we came back for more the next night. A great family pack $64 feed 4 adults with nearly enough left overs for the next night. We went back and ordered more for night 2. Samosas, onion Bahaji , added just the right amount to fill us up!

We ate at the restaurant and the food was really good. We started with complimentary poppadoms and the samosas were delicious. For our main course, we had chicken madras and prawn Vindaloo, both of which were excellent. The coconut rice and cheese and chilli naan were great accompaniments. The standout dish was the onion bajis, which were as good as any I've had anywhere in the world. I've had trouble finding good onion bajis in Australia, but this restaurant nailed it. I will definitely return next time I am in Innisfail.

Ordered the Vege Korma (mild) and Vindaloo lamb (hot) both were delicious. The accompanying Naan and raita was perfect. Definately eat there again

Great decision to dine here with four other friends. The food is amazing. The Saag which is Spinach with spices and looks terrible was delicious. The goat curry and lamb Rogan Josh tender and tasty. And the Madras chicken and Mango Butter chicken excellent. We accompanied this with 2 naan breads and a rata. Plus two coconut rices. Ample food for five. The complimentary papadams is a nice touch. You have a choice of mild medium or spicy with all the dishes. We got a mixture and they were all within the heat range of the group. May is very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant is BYO. All up it came to $20 a head. Excellent night and oh so cheap.

Had dinner here last week and couldn’t fault the food . All dishes were really good. Doesn’t look that inviting but what it lacks in Devore it certainly makes up with beautiful flavours . Highly recommend for somewhere to eat in Innisfail.
