The Olde Bakery Cafe - Ingersoll

Nancy and I stopped here for lunch. Nancy had the Ham and peach Panini while I had the chicken pomodoro Panini. Neither of us could finish it as it was very large. Nancy started with the potato leek soup but she was disappointed with it as it was mostly broth. I had the Greek salad with creamy dressing. Unfortunately it came with a vinegarette dressing. When I asked about it I was told that they don't make it with the creamy dressing anymore. The waitress should have told me that or at least change the menu. We also had to ask for the soup and salad to come out before the sandwiches. All in all the food was good and the service just ok. We will return and give them another chance.

It was ok. Didn't seam to know what they were doing as I was given take out when I was sitting at table...meh

Most times when ordering from a cafe you place the order at the till and your food is brought over. Not so here, yet there is no sign telling you to take a seat if dining in. It's also confusing because there is a menu above the till (like a normal cafe) yet when you figure out you need to be seated a menu is brought over?? I ordered a turkey sandwich which I asked to be tossed. The bread was basic sandwich bread and the rest of the sandwich was cold. I was expecting the entire sandwich to be toasted. They do have an enormous and slightly overwhelming selection of teas. I did not get a chance to try the baked goods, but it looks worth coming back for those

This place is almost magical..Always busy. They have great coffee but even better pies and cakes. We have ordered several times and the baked goods we got were awesome. Eating in the store is just as good. The servers are fast and attentive. Even when it is busy there is not too much of a wait. The waits are worth it when they happen. A must visit when in the area.

What a great please to meet friends or business associates. Coffee, food and service are great. Have never been disappointed!
