Fragrant Jerky Bbq - Industry

This place has good jerky, not the best but it will do if you want some Asian flavor jerky. Customer service isn't the best, but just like any other Chinese place you come and get your food and leave. It's a niche market. I quite like their Singapore type of jerky, it has a unique sweet flavor to it.

The original pork and black pepper beef were great! For 1/4 lb, it was around $7.50 each. I’d recommend eating when warm, otherwise it’s feels too hard.

Unfortunately this was not up to expectations. I prefer the true Singapore style that has chopped up pieces of meat vs the whole piece by fragrant jerky. This makes the jerky too tough and it was also not pounded thin enough. The flavor is decent though does not surpass what you can make at home yourself.

I've tried the regular and spicy beef jerky on a couple of occasions and they are delicious. This place also has bacon/pork jerky. I'll try those later. I've had the vietnamese jerky from Little Saigon before but these Singaporean jerkies are even better suited to my tastes. I will come here more often in the future. The place looks pretty clean and orderly. They also have this machine that cuts the sheets of beef into strands, which is nice. This will be my beef jerky go to place in the near future.

This place has the worst service. The girl who works at this store doesn 't greet people. She just stands there waiting for you to order and tells the total. No thank you or anything when taking payment. No niceties at all. No manners at all. This isn 't an isolated incident either... I have been here twice when she was working here today 04/01 around 2:45 and a few days before. Whoever does the hiring here, what are your qualifications and training seriously. The jerky is not bad and the price is acceptable but the service is enough to deter me from coming back.
