The Melting Pot Castleton

This restaurant is on the hill. The stand against us had wires hanging and the seat was torn. Our table had loose wires suspended and hit our knees. I had a 1:30 reservation for my birthday. We couldn't sit until 1:45, then no waiting personnel came to our table to introduce themselves or take orders for 20mins. I complained to the guest and after another 5 minutes waitress appeared. We ordered drinks and it took another 10 minutes to come and a restaurant cook delivered drinks because our waitress was not where to see. Our section had set only 3 tables and others were empty, so you don't know why our waitress couldn't handle 3 tables. Now we've waited 1 hour since the arrival and don't get food yet. We only decided to pay for our drinks and leave the restaurant. I don't spend $250 for lunch to wait hours for food and get bad service. I was so disappointed because I had asked for months to go to the Melting Pot and was so excited. We went to Harry Izzy and had a delicious lunch.

After sitting, we waited almost 20 minutes until I asked the hostess. The waitress did her best, but could not keep up with all her tables. Food was good, but definitely overpriced for the experience.

Our waiter was amazing! My friends and I plan the night of a mother every two months and always have a wonderful experience! It is worth the 30-minute drive!!

Dinner reservations were at 6, we didn’t even get our chocolate fondu because it took them 3 hours for our cheese and meets. Won’t be going back. When we were leaving the waitress was chatting it up at the front with the wait staff. Very unprofessional.

We celebrated a milestone anniversary and it was fantastic!!!
