Ruby’s Cafe - Indianapolis

I'm very saddened and disappointed with how much this restaurant has declined under the new ownership. I used to come here every Thursday since the previous owner opened but the quality of the food has gone down immensely. I ordered via DoorDash today and included instructions. My salad was literally THREE forkfuls and had 1 slice of tomato, 6 slices of white onion. The gyro meet was extremely salty and my platter had 2 pieces of green pepper. This meal used to be absolutely FABULOUS with the previous owner. By the way, the new owners are wonderful people, I just think the quality of the food is poor. I've come here numerous times hoping things would get better but they just haven't.

Please do not eat here this place was a scam! (Check out my other reviews always gave my opinion only) this Greek restaurant is the worse I’ve ever visited and I will not be back! Two people we serving one cooking one taking orders! They pretend to understand what we wanted and once we got back to our room the food was old! And fries was old! I waited patiently for fresh food like everyone else! We spent able 40 or 50 bucks of our hard earned cash and this is what we received! Videos attached! I’ve never been so disappointed in Greek food in all my life! Oh and this place is list as Ruby CAfe but it’s call something else when you pull in! It’s in a good location so don’t be fooled! We took our last 50 buck cash and went to Flame burgers down the street! As a replacement… I was so ashamed and embarrassed to have suggested this to my fiancé on Valentine’s Day weekend! I’m reporting them to the bbb!

Reasonable prices with great portions and absolutely phenomenal food with great flavor!! First time customer and will now be a steady customer at least twice a week!

This place deserves 5 stars. My husband and I got the gyro and fries, and it was so worth it! The meat was juicy, tsaziki sauce was flavorful, and the pita was so pillowy fluffy. Even the fries were great, fresh, crispy and delicious. And honestly, even the ketchup was good! I mean, my husband and i tasted it and both said wow instinctively! Not to mention the service! Friendly, fun, and very efficient! This place was super clean too, it was so nice! Highly recommend! The sign currently says Petra but they are changing it to Ruby 's soon, so don 't be confused!

Every time we place a carry out order, something is missing. This time it was the baba ganouj from our maza platter. Last time it was the Greek salad and our drinks. They offer to replace it, but what good does that do when I'm already 15 minutes away at home, trying to have dinner with my family? Never again.
