Nevermore Union Station - Indianapolis

Very cool spot in downtown Indy! My husband and I went here for dinner at 6:00pm on a Saturday so they were not busy yet. We ordered the jalapeño mushroom burger and fries and a hot honey chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries and let me tell you, it was SOOO good!! Our host/server/bartender was so friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend trying them for dinner! The whole place is awesome! Loved the little bowling alleys and overall the vibe was chill.

Soft opening stages right now but the food drinks were fabulous and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were good! Looking forward to see the news travel and it get busier! Take some spare change for games and I can see it a perfect spot for big groups with plenty of space and lots to keep you entertained.

After waiting 2 hours our food never arrived. And all we ordered was a cheeseburger and a chicken sandwich. Our drinks (margarita and Tito’s and tonic), we’re not made correctly and we’re horrible. Our server was never around. The place has a cool layout and atmosphere but needs lots of help with service, food and drinks.

The decor is great. The food and drinks were terrific. We waited overt an hour for our food but our waiter was attentive and let us know what was happening. There was a band in one of the rooms that was pretty loud and did a cover of Mm Bop of all things). The night went downhill or more like off a cliff after dinner. We started playing the duckpin bowling game. A hostess got us set up on a lane. There were several other groups also playing. We were 3 frames into our game when a man came up and informed us we couldn’t play while the band was performing. He was rude and bullying. He also said he was the owner, and tried to blame his employees for the confusion instead of taking the responsibility as he should have. We left and won’t be back.

Nevermore is nothing more than a sports bar. Which is fine, but its website alluded to something more sophisticated, which is what our group was expecting. The atmosphere, food, and overall experience was disappointing.
