Bidrage med feedbackThe brisket is superb, very tender with great caramelized edges. They have real sugar soda and a great coffee bar. The owner is a great guy who is great to talk too. I normally come here once a week to enjoy the food.As a side note he dealt with a rather rude customer who did not want to read the menu or listen to what he recommended. For reasons I still do not understand she absolutely lost her mind and made a scene and flounced out the door. He handled it very professionally, I was very impressed.
Really cool place to stop and check out. Area itself wasn't my favorite, but once I was inside it was great. I met the owner and we chatted for a bit. Great guy and you can tell he knows what he is doing in the kitchen. Price was good. Food was good.
Reasonably priced and well made. The ramen was excellent but has limited availability. The pickled onions were great too. The single sauce is very much an Indiana super sweet sauce but it's an Indiana restaurant so that's probably not a problem for most folks. Still, more sauce options would be an easy way to expand the flavors. The owner/chef is really cool. We chatted for a bit while eating and he's super nice. Definitely worth checking out.
The brisket is easily the best I’ve had in Indy, perfectly caramelized edges. Sauce is perfect, and the soda, beer and coffee is all local.
Just fat. I got the brisket sandwich. The sauce was decent, but not award winning. The brisket had a nice crust if a little heavy.The killer was the fat. It wasn’t a lot of fat, it was nearly all fat. Like 80% or more. I honestly don’t know how anyone could eat this.Sadly disappointed.
