Amelia's Windsor Park - Indianapolis

I was very excited to come here for the first time and decided to have a cheat day. I asked for a coffee and some cookies and the manager laughed at me and said “maybe you should try the salad fatty” and then proceeded to point and poke at my stomach.

I can't say enough good things about Amelia's. I don't think they're physically capable of making bad bread. The cookies are particularly fantastic. I just wish they were open a little earlier in the morning!

Corporate farmhouse vibes with a limited coffee menu. Baked goods (sweets) were decent, coffee typical, and maybe don't sit outside in the back because they've got some sort of biting bugs. Ordered a latte w/ oat milk and a pump of chocolate syrup was enjoyable nothing earth shattering.? GF buckwheat cookie was delicious! Seriously good. I personally didn't like the chunky salt on top since it detracts from the otherwise SAVORY, lightly sweet and chewy cookie.Brownie. Solidly confused why it's black. There is no reason for the food coloring or added activated charcoal. Literally none because there not even a special taste. Disappointing.Maybe the breads are better. Here's to hoping.We sat outside in the back and both me and one of my companions got bit by some small, black bug. Bite is a bit swollen and definitely itchy without hydrocortisone cream ?
